Aging and Cosmetic Surgery
I am a 40-something housewife raising two children. I got married and had kids quite late in life, so it wasn't until last year, when I turned 45, that we celebrated the first birthday of my second child. In the past, people used to say that I looked young for my age and that I had big eyes. But now, after a decade of marriage, I feel like the person I used to be doesn't exist any more.
My eyelids became so droopy that they obstructed my vision. Plus, my ability to open my eyes weakened, and as I strained to do so, prominent wrinkles began to appear on my forehead. The symptoms of droopy eyelids were causing discomfort in my daily life, so I ultimately decided to undergo cosmetic surgery.
Fortunately, the surgery went without a hitch. My vision is clearer and my eyes are much more comfortable. I want to exercise diligently to become even healthier in the future. I refuse to accept aging as fate.
