My War Against Mosquitoes

When my eldest daughter was five years old, she was so thin and weak that she frequently fell ill. / was constantly worried. One summer night, I put her to sleep inside a mosquito net, but she still got about ten mosquito bites on her feet alone. A mosquito had managed to get inside the net even though I had turned on a mosquito repellent.

My daughter's feet started to swell up. Her breathing and heartbeat became irregular, and she wouldn't wake up when I tried to rouse her. I was so scared that I took her to the ER. Fortunately, her breathing stabilized on the way, and she woke up during the examination.

However, the doctor said that even a mosquito bite could require a procedure if the inflammation is severe. That really gave me a scare. Since then, I've made it a habit to deal with any mosquito that gets into the house before I go to bed. Sadly, I must kill any mosquito I come across.
